Zhang Xiaotao was born on 1970 in Hechuan, Chongqing, China, he lives and works
in Beijing. He approaches painting as an archetype of beauty, calling it his
personal religion which leads him to a sacred destination.

He is quickly becoming one of Chinese Contemporary Art's big stars: his works are
part of several significant collections in China and abroad.
